Work closely with the executive director to develop, facilitate and evaluate general training programs and quality evaluations as required. Develop, implement and evaluate all weekly service standard and task training session plans within the entire housekeeping department. Department areas include managers, attendants, house person, utility house person, schedulers, status board operators, floor supervisors, administrative employees and others. Generate and distribute weekly core service, pre-shift, standard and task training session plans to all housekeeping managers for implementation. Facilitate core service and task training of line and management employees. Maintain, track and communicate updates of all completed core service standard and task training within the housekeeping department. Provide support in training to all housekeeping managers such as proper delivery and role playing of the core service standard and task training. Conduct performance observation and delivery, phone, and standards shops with emphasis on the weekly task training and coreservice standard. Generate statistical reports and performance analysis on the development of each training program implemented. Requirements At least 1 year of hotel housekeeping supervisory experience. Ability to deal and interact with management, employees and guests in an effective and diplomatic manner. Working knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies, implementation and reinforcement of policies and procedures with regards to safety guidelines. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate passion for training and development. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to lead and mentor a team. Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Professional appearance and demeanor. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. Previous experience managing employees using a collective bargaining agreement preferred. Previous experience working in a similar resort setting preferred. Education High school diploma or equivalent Client Concern about hotel and casino resort.
