The Walther G22 is a bullpup design, meaning the receiver and action are well back behind the trigger, near the butt of the stock, and it has a 20-inch barrel. The stock is designed so that the ejection port and cocking handle can be relocated to the other side for left-handed shooters.
It features a polymer stock with a pistol-style grip and large thumb-hole, which comes with expansion plates to allow for some adjustment to the length of pull. There is an AR-style carrying handle with a slide-up rear notch sight, front assembly with a post sight. It?s also equipped with three Weaver rails on the gun to accommodate optics, lights, lasers, different grips and even a bipod, if you want. A spare magazine, held by friction, is stored inside the polymer stock behind the magazine well.
The laser included with the G22 Set-A2 was developed especially for the G22 and is designed to be a perfect fit. LED on either side of the laser illuminate indicating that the laser is on.
