The Hayden plate carrier system is a slimmed down version of the Heavy Armor Carrier with the same quality construction. It features extra padded, adjustable shoulder straps for comfort. The 2" wide drag handle and mesh lining keep you cool while wearing the vest.
The vest is designed to reduce overall weight an increase mobility. It is capable of holding 10" x 12" plates in the front and rear and comes with removable hydration compatible pack which has an additional 2 large compartments. The vest is covered top to bottom in MOLLE webbing for adding pouches and gear and has lots of hook and loop closures for department or unit ID's. This vets has been tested and is used by many law enforcement agencies. Works well as added protection when worn over Level III body armor for active shooter scenarios.
One size fits most.
This carrier does not, by itself, have any ballistic properties; you must add your own plates or body armor. It is designed to fit most soft body armor. The front will fit our 10" x 12" plates and the back will fit either our 10" x 12" or our 11" x 14" plates.
