Hendey lathe #xxxx0 is a 16 x 6 eight speed geared head model built during the last week of July xxxx. It was shipped with a Taper Attachment, a "D" style Relieving Attachment, an Oil Pan and a Pump and Piping. The original owner was the United States
Navy, Pearl Harbor Navy Yard, Hawaii.
Not including the motor drive unit, but assuming that all of the original attachments are
in place, this lathe will weigh about 3,200 lbs. The distance between centers, with the
tailstock flush with the end of the bed, is 30 inches. The swing will be 16-7/16 inches
over the bed. 3 and 4 jaw chucks, face plate, and misc tooling.
Lathe is in very good condition and needs a new home. No room for it in my shop. $2,250.00 or best offer. Willing to trade for weapons, large gun safe, or? Take a look at e-bay and you'll see my price is reasonable. I can assist with loading and may be willing to move it for you.
