Look it up anywhere on average you can get a 12oz can of 134a (thats 3/4 of a pound) for around $20 plus tax. I believe it should be the same. I charge a straight price of $25 for 16oz's (1 pound) and $25 for the service. Maybe your car just isn't cold enough. WHY pay $100-$150 dollars if you only need a little. If everything is working properly you can just add some to it. Did a shop tell you that you need a compressor job done then tell you a crazy price like $xxxx-$xxxx. Its NOT that much. Most cars can be done professionally and properly at almost HALF that. I have been a mechanic for 13 years and A/C is my specialty. If you want your car fixed right and way cheaper call me.

I do ask to see most cars to properly give a price when diagnosing which I DO NOT CHARGE FOR I just like to be as accurate as possible. The only time I ask for diagnosis money is if you live on the far west or north side and do not want to fix your car after diagnosis. Its a flat $20. I am sorry for this but gas prices are getting stupid. For some reason if I can't tell you whats wrong with it there is no charge no matter where you are.
