Job Description:
The Sales Manager's goal is to work closely with the Pardee Division Sales Teams to achieve the sales and closing goals, and a positive, unique, and memorable customer experience. The successful candidate will accomplish this by executing on leadership strategies, hands:on coaching, community performance analysis, and participating in the regional real estate community.
He / She will be responsible for sales team training, follow up coaching, new hire orientation, and mentorship regarding sales techniques, construction knowledge and professional growth in order to continuously improve team expertise and effectiveness.
The Sales Manager will collaborate with Sales Counselors to effectively manage sales backlog and implement backlog retention strategies. He / She will ensure that Sales Counselors are adhering to the prescribed paperwork process and cut:off dates in the contract cycle while maintaining consistent and proactive communication with Community backlog to ensure construction process efficiency and accountability.
ISSUES and PRIORITIES
- Must have NEW HOME BUILDING SALES EXPERIENCE.
- 2+ years selling plus 2+ years in management preferred. BS degree preferred. Broker License preferred.
- The new Sales Manager must quickly establish strong and productive working relationships with On:site and Online Sales Counselors, Design Center Team, Closing Services Team, and Preferred Lenders. Equally important, relationships must be established with the Division President, Sales Vice President, Sales Coordinator, Marketing Leadership, and with Construction Leadership
-Learn the Company culture, internalize and practice the values of Pardee Homes and TRI Pointe Homes.
- Collaborate, Mentor, and Coach the sales teams in consistent application of the "4:2 Sales Process" with prospects, customers, and homeowners.
- Attain a rapid and in:depth understanding of Division project economics and apply this understanding to daily practices and processes.
- Gain an intimate understanding of the regional competitive market environment, quantify market factors and effectively communicate this market information to all constituencies in order to position each community to maximize sales revenues, sales velocity and unit sales margins.
- Adopt and ensure consistently:applied processes for sales team hiring, professional development, communication, performance training and coaching, and metric analysis.
- Learn and effectively apply state:of:the:industry sales and marketing tools and materials provided both on:site and through Pardee Home's regional sales and marketing support group.
