Property Managment Accountant We are seeking an experienced Accountant! This person must be hands-on, driven, deadline-oriented with a positive attitude and team approach! In summary this person will assure timely and accurate financial reporting; assure internal controls are adhered to; assure accurate and timely payment of expenses; provide detailed attention to cash monitoring and reporting; understand and use Yardi software; assist operations personnel in achieving company goals. Some job duties include but aren't limited to: Assure timely & accurate preparation and distribution of financial information. Analyze budget variances and make corrections as necessary; suggest and assist implementing procedures to prevent recurring errors. Monitor and reconcile account balances. Assist with budget process. Assure adherence to internal controls Closely monitor, review, track and protect company cash/bank balances Assure proper coding and maintenance of chart of accounts. Protect confidential material and information. Possess expertise with Yardi software at an intermediate to advanced level Complete special projects as assigned. REQUIRED: BS Degree in Business/Accounting Qualifications: * Solid Understanding of Financial Reporting * Experienced at Tracking and Analyzing Costs & Budgets * Excellent Computer Skills * Proficient at Managing Processes * Ability to Coordinate and Prioritize * Skilled at Motivating Others * Strong Attention to Detail * Legal & Policy Compliance. ** MUST INCLUDE SALARY HISTORY ** We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package and a great working environment!
