Job Description
As Escrow Manager, core responsibilities are to complete the necessary steps to close a home from the time a Purchase Agreement is written, through compiling final figures for all parties involved in a home purchase (i.e. title, lender, realtor, buyer, builder) and finally helping to facilitate the recording of the home in conjunction with the home being ready for move in. Must have at least 3+ years of experience working in the home building industry. Knowledge of JD Edwards and Lotus Notes is a plus.
Complete all internal steps to close a home from Purchase Agreement to close of escrow. Open communication with vendors, title and sales staff. Assist with final recordings.
Job duties will include:
Process sign and mail ratified Purchase Agreements
Add/delete options (config lists), include design studios
Prepare final closing documents
Process closing paperwork and enter in JD Edwards
Reach closings goals and maintain Closings report
Record building final dates in JD Edwards
Process cancellations as they occur, include notification process
Starts, Sales and Closings internal report (weekly)
Collect deposits, enter in JD Edwards
