Consumer Goods Company in the Las Vegas area is looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant The Senior Administrative Assistant provides support to the Vice President and his direct reports. This position is primarily responsible for processing and handling of confidential materials and records and performing reception duties. Job Responsibilities will include the following: Greets and directs visitors appropriately, to include communication of confidentiality requirements and safety requirements when entering the premises Prepares reports, memos, letters, presentations and other documents Answers phone calls and directs calls to appropriate parties or takes messages Prepares reports, memos, letters, presentations and other documents Performs ad hoc projects as needed Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming correspondence including faxes and email to determine their significance and plan their distribution. Prepares responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries Prepares agendas and makes appropriate arrangements, such as coordinating catering for meals/making meal reservations Attends meetings to record minutes, when applicable and compiles, transcribes, and distributes minutes of meetings. Manages and reconciles the monthly credit card statement and bill Reviews operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures Performs general office duties, such as ordering supplies, filing and retrieving organizational documents, records, and reports Enters data into database daily; closes out work orders Provide general HR support to the department
