The Recruiter is responsible for the overall recruiting process to include posting, interviewing, job fairs, testing and referring applicants to positions throughout the company.
Core Duties and Responsibilities for the Recruiter:
Manages all aspects of the recruitment process including: job requisition design, sourcing, screening, pre-employment checks, compliance, offers of employment, and on-boarding
Oversees the development of initial job requisition including outlining requirements for positions and ensuring the requisition is approved and posted to applicant tracking system. Creates and revises job descriptions as needed.
Adheres to Company policy and procedures and enforces compliance by employees
Builds candidate pipeline through targeted advertising, direct sourcing, employee referrals, networking and recruitment events
Promote from within policy; manage the program offering pre-interviewing process to be taken care of
Process employee referral program
Sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill and public image
Communicate to all applicants their standing in the hiring process
Completion of weekly report on Employment activity and report to HR Director
Assist in Orientation of new employees
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislations and insures company compliance
Responsible for compliance with Federal and State legislation as it pertains to the hiring process
Meets departments productivity standards
Acts as a role model within and outside the Company
Other duties as assigned by the HR Director
Minimum Qualifications for our Recruiter:
Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent related experience in recruitment functions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Considerable skill in interviewing techniques
Strong organizational and time management skills
Recruiting experience
Maintains a positive and respectful attitude
Perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain consistency
