Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Office Manager : Housekeeping is to supervise the Housekeeping office staff with the scheduling tasks, payroll duties, administering of attendance points and leave administration tracking. All tasks are monitored for compliance with departmental and property:wide policies and procedures. The Office Manager will also directly oversee the scheduling of Managers and housekeeping coordinators. Also maintains logs, prepares and tracks discipline as well as ensures effective communication is in place with boards, website, etc. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian and The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casinos policies, practices, and procedures.

Monitors housekeeping coordinators work : scheduling, payroll, attendance, leave administration.

Scheduling of management and office team members.
:
Is responsible for the up:keeping of communication boards on floors, posters in heart of the house areas as well Housekeeping website.

Monitors Unifocus reports for trend analysis by floor, team member, challenge, etc.
:
Displays trend reports for Unifocus, Forbes and any other evaluation tool.
:
Establishes and maintains filing procedures.
:
Types correspondence, memos and reports.
:
Coordination of monthly team member engagement events.
:
Tracks and monitors completion of suites for tours and site visits.
:
Assist with creating and updating of departmental manuals and SOPs.
:
Assist with reports and projects as assigned.
:
Performs other duties and assignments as requested and assigned.

Manage office team members and organize department functions in accordance with company guidelines.

Delegate tasks and department assignments or projects, meeting deadlines related to those assignments.

Focus on achieving the goals or objectives of the department using available resources (staff and budgetary).

Evaluate the schedule or timelines related to the completion of assignments, while maintaining service and/or product quality.

Develop staff skills to enhance department effectiveness and manage resources to eliminate excess cost or unnecessary expenditures.

Minimum Qualifications:

21 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States, high school Diploma or equivalent.

Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English, both in oral and written form.

Have interpersonal skills with focused attention to team member needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.

Maintain a professional, neat and well:groomed appearance adhering to Company appearance standards.

Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Must possess at least 2 years prior experience in hotel operations; preferably in a 4/5 star resort.
