Responsibilities:
:
Perform accounting, financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting for assigned project(s), utilizing SAP, Microsoft Excel, HPM.
:
Perform accounting functions necessary to achieve an accurate and timely general ledger month:end close.
:
Review CIP report for accuracy and for timely capitalization of fixed assets.
:
Review Request for Expenditure (RFE) to determine compliance to be sure expenses meet qualifications of major maintenance expense or capital
:
Determine if a Request For Expenditure (RFE) is needed for certain expenses.
:
Duties may include recording of necessary revenue, expense and balance sheet related journal entries for fixed assets, accruals, loan draw downs and debt and interest payments, financial statement preparation (in accordance with GAAP), analysis and adjustment of income statement and balance sheet accounts, reconciliation of general ledger accounts and analysis of financial statements, and general accounting support.
:
Prepare periodic comparative variance analysis. Analyze variance and manage the variance, manage the budget to targets.
:
Responsible for preparation of annual budget plan, and analysis, for assigned project(s). Also responsible for updating balance of the year forecasts for assigned project(s).
:
Perform benchmarking analysis.
:
Support business plan preparation and updates.
:
Support project feasibility analysis.
:
Review sales tax from transactions to determine if details of the transaction are correct.
:
Process accounts payable, ensure approvals and correct cost allocations.
:
Assist and perform as backup to the sites Budget Analyst II position.
:Backup time entry.
