Job Description:
Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Benefits Coordinator is to perform professional office work in eligibility reporting, billing, auditing, COBRA administration, and miscellaneous administrative duties. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian The Palazzo Casino Resorts policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
: Assists with billing and reports.
: Assist with COBRA Administration including daily reporting and responding to inquiries by the COBRA Administrator
: Assist with monthly and quarterly eligibility process and reporting
: Assists with phone coverage.
: Assists Director and Managers with special projects.
: Maintain the Wellness Center
: Administer all aspects of the Well:Baby Program
: Responsible for the scanning of all documents for Benefits and Leave of Absence Administration
: Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non:hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.
: Performs any other related duties as assigned.

: Coordinate and expedite the flow of work.
: Possess skills to expedite clerical processing, evaluate information, and implement or take action based upon information.
: Exercise discretion and judgment based on available information related to projects assigned.
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Qualifications:
: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
: High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
: 1 year previous clerical experience and be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills.
: Previous experience in Human Resources preferred with background in benefits administration.
: Must demonstrate exceptional computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
: Ability to organize, follow verbal and written directions and checklists, follow through assigned tasks, complete forms, maintain inventory and maintain the Wellness Center.
: Must be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives.
: Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite manner.
: Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.

: Work in a fast:paced, results:oriented and ever:changing environment.
: Able to maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
: Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts.
