- 2012 Gibson R9 Les Paul Standard Guitar in Las Vegas, Nevada For Sale

Uncle Adam here, and you're admiring a brand-new xxxx Gibson R9 Les Paul Standard. It's lightly aged with finish checking throughout and a faded sunburst 'lemon-drop' color. The weight is 8.9 pounds but the top on this guitar is the big story. It's got that 50's look to it; the maple has authentic style flame with nice-looking mineral streaking which you just don't see Gibson using these days. At a glance, this appears to be a real burst; imagine if you dressed it up with real 50's parts (which I always keep in stock) or a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard (installation of which I can arrange for you)...totally awesome!!! As stated, the guitar is brand-new with all the tags and blank warranty stuff, but the brown case was slightly damaged in shipping with a dent on the top/side...no big deal. BTW...this is not one of those 'Sandy' re-issue bursts; this one looks far better and is much cheaper!
