Job Description:
Seeking motivated engineers for the role of Assistant Project Manager that will be responsible for assisting in managing proposed and existing projects through completion. This is a full:time, direct hire position with benefits. This position will be responsible for the following:
- Assist in preparing and managing contracts, billings, WIP and A/R
- Assist in representing client and firm in meetings and agencies
- Assist on managing design team
- Assist on QA/QC design documents
- Assist in coordinating with other disciplines and support services
- Assist in preparation of project schedules
- Assist in preparation of improvement plans
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Extremely organized
- Outgoing, friendly, approachable (Team player)
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in computer software (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Outlook, Project)
- Very detail oriented
- Capable of envisioning clients goal
- Understand surveying mapping
- Understand drainage, water, sewer design elements
- Proficient in Civil Engineering design
Education/Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a project engineer
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in civil design
- Good reputation amongst peers, clients and agencies
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Management
