JOLT is a student-run literary journal at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA, that seeks to showcase previously unpublished literary fiction, nonfiction, visual art, and poetry. We are looking for works that capture those unexpected, often abrupt moments in life that jolt us into a new sense of awareness—one that transforms the way in which we see ourselves and others.
