The first ten pages of your screenplay must hook a reader at a production company, agency, or screenwriting competition. If you don't reel them in fast then they're probably going to start skimming or worse--stop reading your script all together.

SCREENPLAY ANALYSIS RESULTS: I did an extremely detailed analysis of a script for a writer and they won $10,000 in the L.A. Comedy Scripts Screenplay Competition. I spent an hour and a half on their first page alone to help smooth out the kinks. I also analyzed a script for a writer then helped them rewrite the dialogue and they recently acquired one million dollars toward making their film. For the last few years I've been writing, rewriting, and analyzing screenplays for writers, actors, directors, and producers.
