This is one of only 500 ever made Picasso ceramic bowls entitled "Bird on a Branch". It measures approximately 14.5 cm in diameter. . This is a wonderfull opportunity to own a piece of art history made by the most influencial artist of the 20th centery. Back is signed by Picasso as "Picasso Edition. "Partially glazed terre-de-faïence ceramic pottery turned round ash-tray of white earthenware clay, oxidized paraffin decoration, white enamel, and painted in black. Stamped on the bottom Edition Picasso and signed Edition Picasso in black. Measures 6 1/4" across. This piece has a very small firing flaw on the outer white rim, but there are no structure cracks. This was one of a series of 6 ceramics which Picasso had made in xxxx consisting of ash trays .
